Revlon Breast Cancer Walk

Day in the city (early early day) for the Revlon walk. Took Joseph this year it was fun. Little cold so we walked ahead but turned out great so we had enough time to head to the zoo.







Back at the house the kids got to go on the garage roof, I was a little impressed with Isabel she is usually a whimp with these things but she loved going up there.

Time to color the Eggs!!

Amanda came to babysit and was left in charge of coloring eggs. Isabel thinks this is great but goes through them so fast and since we don't eat them, really, how many can we make? She had fun as usual. Thanks Amanda.

more conversations with Isabel...

Isabel was talking and talking as usual, we were trying to get ready for swimming and she just kept talking. I said "Isabel please just stop talking for 2 minutes and get your bathing suit on" her answer "you know mom I was just trying to communicate with you" well she showed me... haha Love it when she likes to use new words!

school trip

First kindergarten school trip to Queens college. Can you tell she is excited!

They saw a puppet show "Caps for Sale" and "Three Billy Goats Gruff" they were books that they have been reading in school, very cute stories. I was allowed to go as chaperon for the first trip I was a little excited my self. I think she was more excited to be on the bus then the actual trip. The kids were all really good I was glad I got a chance to go.

Our first real report card!!!

Isabel has been doing great in school. I have been so proud of her. I hope and pray it keeps up. I struggled in school, I know it is only kindergarten but hey gotta start somewhere right!! You can click on the image to see it larger if you can't read the small print!

Birthday Celebration at school

I was able to go up and bring cake for Isabel at school so she can celebrate her day. The teacher made the day a lot of fun for Valentine's Day so Isabel got an extra special party, twice the fun! I love while she is still little I am getting these chances to go up to her school, be a part of the classroom and get to see her and her friends in action.

Birthday Party

HAPPY BIRTHDAY my 6 year old!!
I can not believe that she is 6. When they say times flies they really mean it!
Lidia was awesome, she opened her doors for us to have Isabel's birthday party at her salon. The girls all got their hair, nails and make-up done!


Isabel and I appreciated ALL the help we got from everyone for making the day so fun. Mimi and Nana as usual came early to eat with us and help set up.

It was fun to see Isabel with all her friends, including school friends this year. I am lucky as a mom to see that she has such a great group of friends!

Here we come Broadway!!

Evening out to see Mary Poppins with cousins is always fun, even if it is the coldest day of the year!!! Can you tell? ToysRus first then, we had a fantastic lunch. There was so much food, and we had plenty of time to warm up and talk. Off to the show... these are some photos before I got caught and was asked to put the camera away :(

SNOW SNOW SNOW

Snow started after Christmas and just did not stop. What a crazy year how much snow we had. I really got a work out with lots of shoveling time I put in! The next morning... Went over to play outside with Carly, her and her dad made an awesome IGLOO, Isabel had a blast!

Radio City Rockettes

Went into the city on a bus with a group from dancing school! What a great idea, no driving YAY!! It was my first time going to see the show and Isabel also so it was nice! The girls had a great time, they love to see each other outside of dance.
