Bon Jovi's BFF

So we are in the car talking and listening to music, Isabel says
- momma this is Bon Jovi right?
It was the song Who says you can't go home. So I said
- Sure Isabel do you like this song?
She says
-Yes and you know who Bon Jovi's best friend is?
- BARACK OBAMA, he loves to sing and dance to his music!
I was hysterical laughing, I could not figure out how she would put the 2 together she likes a few of his songs, is learning about presidents and about our new one in school BUT to put the 2 of them together as best friends, just thought it was too funny. Now she is getting annoyed I ask her all the time "Hey Isabel who is Bon Jovi's best friend again", just to hear her say it, plus I love the way she says Barack Obama.

" I can feel my heart"

Today I was running around trying to get us to walk out the door and Isabel was waiting for me on the couch, the way she was laying her hands were on her chest and I guess she could feel her heart beat. She looked at me in an odd way, I said what's the matter hon and she said "Mommy I can feel my heart now, it means now it has love" it was the sweetest thing she really was so intense about it. She comes out with little things everyday that just makes me sit back and wonder what did I ever do without her.

MORE ice skating

I had the week off which does not happen often and tried to spend the week taking Isabel out. We went ice skating 3 times in one week. She did great. She does more of a run fast then actually skate but she is getting there. She really enjoys it and is so proud of herself. I wish I had the time and money to get her lessons.





This day she kept falling to the fall on purpose and then saying "mom take a picture" it was so funny. Poor Jeanine, Isabel was whining over her gloves and she gave up hers to make my little angel happy.
