Isabel on the news

Isabel was asked to to join a WeeHands signing for Toddlers group just fo the day of the Fox News clip. She was not the most cooperative child that day but I was trying to be forgiving she was just getting over being sick. Either way WE MADE THE NEWS.....

Sick baby....

Well Isabel got pneumonia ... Monday evening she went to bed with a slight fever, woke up at 10:30 with a temp of 103.5 I let her lay in my bed with me by 1am still no change at some point we fell asleep. I woke up at 4am to find her shivering in the worst way, very lethargic and asking me to "help". We went to L.I.J. ER and at arrival her temp was 105 well after a few tests, breathing treatments, antibiotics & steroids she is back home and on the road to recovery. She is doing well now still little trouble breathing but you would never guess how bad she was just 2 days ago.

New Past Time at Night

DRESSING UP!!!!! This has become Isabel's favortie thing to do put on dressup clothes and that hat and some jewelry .... How could you not squeeze that face.

Update on Swim Lessons

Isabel has been with the same instructor now for a little over a year. In lessons for 1 1/2 years. Melissa is awesome and is also her babysitter but as far as swimming she is making such progress. As of today she can swim under water to the wall and pull herself up, holds on to the bar bell to swim, free swimming on her own with arm floats and also goes under water a lot with no complaints.

New Years 2007

New Years Eve we went over to Jeanines. Played boared games and ate. Isabel fell asleep on the couch about 10:30 and around 11:55 I woke her up to say Happy New Year (we were going home anyway) not as cool as you think...LOL . New Years Day we met Michelle, John and the kids at the store and then to Friendly's. Kids came back to the house and played and these are pictures I took right after they left FIRST ONES OF THE NEW YEAR Cheeks are rosie from Keratosis Pilaris... big word for genetic skin disorder/ dry skin: Keratosis pilaris is a skin condition commonly seen on the upper arms, buttocks and thighs. The skin cells that normally flake off as a fine dust from the skin form plugs in the hair follicles. These appear as small pimples that have a dry ''sandpaper'' feeling. They are usually white but sometimes rather red. They usually don't itch or hurt.
It may occur in babies where it tends to be most obvious on the cheeks. It may remain for years but generally gradually disappears usually before age 30. Keratosis pilaris is unsightly but completely harmless. It is usually worse during the winter months or other times of low humidity when skin dries out
