MORE ice skating
I had the week off which does not happen often and tried to spend the week taking Isabel out. We went ice skating 3 times in one week. She did great. She does more of a run fast then actually skate but she is getting there. She really enjoys it and is so proud of herself. I wish I had the time and money to get her lessons.

Christmas Morning
Slept later then I thought she would but she woke up walked in the living room and almost froze she just stood there staring. Then the first thing she did was check to see if he ate the cookies and guess what she was upset that he left a piece, out of 3 cookies he ate 2 1/2 and she was upset that he didn't finish. So we opened a few presents Barbies from the Diamond castle, Thumblina, Leapster and more playmobile. Anthony then came over to watch her open her big gift from Santa. She got her playmobile hospital. WOW that must have taken him SUCH A LONG time to put together almost 4 hours (just guessing)
Isabel went to her dads for a little while after to open yet more presents then I went to pick her up to bring her home and we just chilled out in out pj's and played will all our new stuff.

Christmas Eve
Worked in the morning, the kids were so hyper, all the talk about Santa coming was just to much I guess. It was fun totally made me remember being a kid and that pit in your belly from all the anticipation. We went over to Mimi's for a little bit before heading to Belmont for dinner.
Went back to Mimi's to open presents, again the kids were so hyper they were so excited it was really neat to watch them open up their gifts.
Isabel got a barbie castle like house, her ambulance, she loves her calender, lots of stocking stuffers.
About 9 or so we left to go to Maureen's to wait for Santa. We always go over there it is so nice, so many people come, and they have such a great way at making oyu feel like family.
All the kids were lined up at the window to wait for santa and when they heard those bells and saw him at the window it was priceless to see all their faces.
When Isabel heard Santa call her name she was in heaven. Santa gave her walkie talkies and can you believe he forgot batteries. It was so cute she was calling them "hearing things" all night get it?? cause you hear each through them....hehehe
Then it was home around 11 still to get out the cookies, milk and carrots before bed. So wired I didnt think she would ever go to sleep. Salem decided to hide from Santa in a bag.

Christmas party's... :)
Our first Christmas party was at Dylans house (well Kristen's house...lol) it was fun Isabel had a great time and I got to take home a bottle of wine. They had a train that went around the tree but the kids could sit on it and ride it. That was a big hit for Isabel.
On the 19th also Joseph's birthday "Happy Birthday Joseph" Isabel had her school "Christmas Play" it was the story of Mary & Joseph trying to find a place at the INN and the children were getting ready for Jesus' "birthday party". They sang some songs and all the kids had a few lines. It was really cute but you could totally not understand anything they were saying the kids all of a sudden became so shy. After the play they got to eat desserts, and open a present left under the school tree.
Doesn't this cupcake look delicious??

On saturday there was a small party at dancing school too. After a little while of dancing there was lots of goodies to eat and pass around. All the girls were so excited.
That afternoon we went to New Jersey for a holiday family get together. Isabel had the best time. She was having so much fun playing with Caitlyn and Amanda. Poor Caitlyn, Isabel followed her around everywhere, wanted to do everything just like her. The girls played so nice together I love seeing her with family.

Ice Land ice skating 1st time this year
Went to dancing school this morning, then we went to the Elmont Library to see the play Madeline's Christmas. It was really cute Isabel enjoyed it. She always likes going to the plays over there. After I wanted to do something with just us so I thought i would take her ice skating. She has not gone since last year, and she gets very nervous about falling. She kept asking me if it was "OK to fall". It did help that she saw other people falling down A LOT! She did great I was so proud of her, she fell a lot also but would get right back up. Everything needed to be explained like the ice is cold, it is OK to get wet blah blah... she is so good if there is an explanation. We had a really good time, she was such a riot. She wanted me to tell everyone she was a good "practicer" ( I told her she needs to practice if she doesn't want to fall down)
