Poor Hailie :( but Yea for Sleepovers :)

My little Hailie was flown to the hospital because of a burn on her arm and chest, while Adene was with her Sera spent the night at our house for a sleepover. To lighten things up a little I didnt want Sera upset, the kids wanted to sleep in a tent. They were so excited, they wanted to go to bed at 6:00pm (but didn't) They had fun but neither one lasted the night, they both ended up in my bed and I ended up on the couch!

Had to add this, as sad as it is does she not make the cutest patient?

Visit with santa ALREADY????

OK so I know it was a bit early but he was there at the mall and Adene and I thought Hey why not then maybe we can use a picture for our Christmas cards. The girls were so cute we had them in PJ's (so they would go to bed right after) and they were the only ones there. He was talking to them so much Isabel was loving it. He even told them that he was watching them fight all day, their face was PRICELESS!!! So worth going early and not waiting on lines and being rushed

Happy Halloween

Today Isabel had a Harvest Fair on school. We were able to go to the school to join in the festivities. In the gym they played games, and made sand art pictures. It was fun to see her interacting with the other kids. So funny how in her class their are kids who are 3 and some who are 4 it is really a 2 year school. Isabel seems to old to be with the 3 year olds....lol I guess being her birthday is in Feb. and some kids just turned 3 with in the last few months.

After the games we went down to the classroom to eat junk and boy did they eat junk. There was so much candy, cupcakes and cookies (oh and some fruit) then we go to watch them do a few songs very very cute! Before they ate their food they said their prayer, totally loved watching her she kept peeking...lol

The kids all made masks of different animals, Isabel is the orange monkey!!

We met up with Joanie and Hunter for some Floral Park TRICK OR TREATING... the kids were so excited. Let us take a few pictures but not many then her neighbor gave them each a HUGE Black & White (orange) cookie, the kids were like OK done, we had to convince them to put the cookie in the carriage and continue to the next house (Owen their dog ended up eating the cookie out of the carriage).
So down the block we went and around the very first corner Isabel falls BUT having a lollipop in one hand and a bucket in the other guess what stopped her fall, yup her face. So after lots of crying and lots of blood the trooper continued on. Anthony met up with us after that, it was such an awesome day not cold at all and I could not believe how many people and families were out it was so nice. Walked around till it started to get dark and then went back to Joanie's for pizza and then home it was a nice day the kids had a great time.

Notice all the pics are with a lollipop in hand it was the only thing that in her words "made her feel better"

This was the aftermath of the lip that night, but didn't stop from picking out candy to eat

This was the next day just in time for this weeks Christmas pictures.

First Class Trip

SoBig had their first school trip to the Queens Farm. It was very very cute. The kids were all able to milk cows, be in the pig pen ( I stayed out and Isabel freaked when the pigs were eating her shoes) petting the goats, chicks, rabbits, and even a pony ride, her favorite!
The kids looked so cute I could not believe I was with her watching her stand on line for a SCHOOL TRIP so unreal she seemed so big and independent. Bitter/Sweet moment.

Race for the Cure

Today was the Breast Cancer Walk it was so HOT out. The humidity was unbelievable. Isabel and I woke up at 530, drove to Queens and then to the city. We had a really nice day, even though strollers were not allowed we kinda just hung out. After the walk it was time for lunch. We went to a small diner place and then off to the train to get home. Could not wait to get home and shower!!

Hurricane Hanna

We knew the rain was coming, so instead of just sitting in the house we went to Joanie's so Isabel could have someone to play with it I could have company too. Well being the picture taking people we are and all about the photos for scrapping, here is this rain, how do we pass up the opportunity? So poor Joanie rummaged through her house to find enough clothing for 3 kids to play in the rain. (Hence the outfit on Isabel). Anyway we waited long enough to get a little puddle action going. It was raining but not to bad, but the all of a sudden it was pouring, me in my white t-shirt having our kids jump in the street in a Hurricane just for a photo. Cars passed and stared BUT the kids have fun and that is what counts RIGHT???

First Day of School

Awake at 5:45 "mom is it time for school" can you tell she was excited. Getting ready was a breeze she ate so fast brushed her teeth and got dressed with so much cooperation.

OK so it was only orientation but in Isabel's eyes it was the first day. She was disappointed that she wasn't taking the bus "alone, no mommy's" but she loved it. First day her job was the Flag Holder for Pledge of Allegiance, she was acting so shy but was eating up the attention. She also helped the teachers (Ms. Christina, Ms. Lucy, & Ms. Barbara) with garbage after snack time.

ANOTHER SHOW!!

Spent the afternoon at my moms and she was drying afghans on the line and what an opportunity for Isabel to put on a show for us. I see these shows ALL the time it is a day after day event for me but this day was even more funny then usual. She even wanted my dad to wait his turn then join in for the show!

Mommy & Isabel's day out!!

Trying to spend more time with Isabel where there is no other kids around for me to take care of. She needs more time being an only child, considering she is one she must not feel like it with Anthony or I. I have been making a point to have just ALONE days together and we are both really loving it.

This was our Flushing Zoo day. Isabel brought her doll "Hailie" it was so cute. Hailie had to take pictures and pose, see all the animals... so so cute. Perfect day for a long walk. The animals all seemed to be out, the few they have there.

YAY Beach Day

We woke up this morning and was suppose to be getting dressed for Garden Class BUT after talking to Mimi on the phone decided today would be a good beach day. Especially when you get to pull up with the car and Tio will park it and really do not have to pack to much else. It was fun to have her at the beach we do not go to often, she is not a big fan of the ocean.

Mimi & Tio took Isabel for a walk to get Seashells but she made sure she stayed far away from the water. She wanted to take them home to paint. It was a great day for shells, we found so many.

Not sure how much fun Mimi was having playing in the sand instead of relaxing to a book.
