Mothers Day :)

Mimi, Nana, Aunt J, Emily, Isabel and I all went into the city. We had 9:30am reservations to eat breakfast at the AMERICAN GIRL DOLL restaurant. Mother's Day was not really about us mothers it was about the girls but it was fun we wouldn't be mothers without them. It turned out to be a really nice day, weather wise.
The girls always love taking the train in, Isabel is so funny she is amazed at the people who sleep on the train.
Isabel was able to pick out a new doll, she picked out the blonde girl and named her Mimi, so cute! We stopped off at St. Patricks Cathedral, then to take a few more pictures and headed home.

The crew came over and we had a BBQ, kids had a blast, put on a show for us it was hysterical!

Girls Lemonade stand

Mom had a garage sale on the block so we thought lets get rid of some crap and the girls wanted to sell lemonade. It was so cute but they were very demanding. They were marching and singing "who wants to buy lemonade" Over all they split $14, not bad for a days work. Later they took their coach wallets (hehe) over to Baskin Robinns and bought themselves ice cream, so cute.


Don't even ask Hailie dropped a piece of a toy down the sewer, how can you not take a picture of this scene. It was 2 poles tapped together with a ladle tapped to the end, HYSTERICAL, but they did get it out.
Joseph and Martin stopped but to show us how he rides his two wheeler, so proud of him!

Flushing Zoo

I actually had a few days off this week can you imagine, that never happens. Met up with Jeannette and the kids and we went to the Flushing Zoo. Fun the kids always have a great time seeing each other.

EASTER :)

We both slept over Mimi's the night before Easter, I had my Elementary school reunion the night before right down the block. Isabel was thrilled to be having a sleepover with Mimi, Tio, Nana P and Aunt Eileen. Imagine the fun hehe

It was a great Easter fun to see everyone and the weather was only a little chilly for playing outside!

Trying out rollerblades...

Cleaning out her closet I found rollerblades from Carly I remember thinking when will she ever fit into those. I tried them on her and they fit perfect. It was raining so I let her use them in the house to practice I was actually suprised that she was able to do it as well as she did. The rain let up for a few minutes so I put on my blades and we both went outside for a little bit. I can't wait for the nicer weather so we can out go out more often. She looked so cute.

Sunday in the City for the Marathon

We got up at 6:00am to head out to the city with Anthony. Isabel was excited to see the runners but it was FREEZING OUT. To early and too cold. While Anthony ran with his friend we made the best of it and walked around to keep moving and warm and took pictures.



At about 9:00am it was Isabel's turn to run in her first race. It was cute, all the kids were split by ages. I had to introduce Isabel to a little girl Lily to run with because she was a little nervous to go alone. Lilly was running with the 3 year old so Isabel did to. It is a very short run but cute.



All the kids got a medal afterwards it was adorable!

Later we went to lunch at MARS 2112 she was having a good time and the aliens had a good time playing with her ponytails.

Egg Painting

We painted Eggs early this year because Carly was coming over for the day and Isabel likes to paint eggs with the girls. Who thought it was a good idea to get sparkles for an egg coloring kit??? The kids had fun, Isabel didn't think using the egg picker-upper tool was necessary, her hands worked just fine. Thank goodness for Friday night swimming the chlorine took it right off.

Visit with the Easter Bunny :)

Isabel and I decided to have a night at the mall, dinner and bunny visit. She was so siked she loves these things. When we saw the bunny it was so cute, we were the only ones on line so he (she, it was a girl inside) was dancing with her tickling her, I think she didn't totally get why she didn't talk. Isabel went right over to the bunny lifted up her pant leg to show her her band aide. I love that she is not afraid and likes that stuff. She gets shy but not afraid.

When we were getting ready to leave Adene came with her sister, her friend and the kids. Hailie wanted no part of the bunny and Adene was sweet to let Isabel sit in on Sera's picture, they came out cute!
